When a user encounters a milestone within the app, one or more campaigns may be assigned to that milestone; however, only one campaign may be presented at that moment. The system will display the campaign at the top of the Campaign Priority List for that particular milestone unless they do not meet the segmentation rules/requirements for that campaign. There are several rules that may suppress a campaign from being displayed to a particular user, such as:
The system will default to the next campaign in the Priority View until it finds a campaign that can be displayed to the user. If none can be displayed, the app continues without hesitation.
Note Test devices ignore rules but abide by the Campaign Priority settings.
When a new campaign is created, it is assigned as the top priority for all milestones it is associated with by default. To adjust priority, the publisher must:
Navigate to the Campaign Priority Page on the Dashboard and select your app.
Select the Milestone.
Drag and drop the content units to change the order. The earlier in the list a campaign appears, the higher its priority it will be.
Additionally you can also click on the priority number and simply assign a new priority to the campaign.
The new priority will save and the list will be updated immediately.
